Common Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a circumboreal plant, growing wild in Europe, Asia and North America. Yarrow has also been brought to North America by Europeans – plants growing wild in our area could be of either North American or European origin – there’s almost no way to know. Most of the colorful cultivars available in the nursery trade are of European origin and so we list these plants as “Non-native” despite yarrow having a native presence here as well.
