Cornus sericea ‘Kelseyi’ – Dwarf Red-osier Dogwood

A low-growing, rounded form, much smaller and compact than the straight species. Stems are showy with a mixture of red to yellow throughout the winter turning to green when the leaves emerge. Leaves are rounded to oval with deeply indented veination and turn purplish-red in the fall.  Flowers appear in early summer in flat showy clusters with individual flowers creamy white and tiny. Berry-like fruit turn white when ripe and are popular with birds
