Fothergilla ×intermedia ‘Blue Shadow’- Witchalder

A striking new cultivar of mountain witchalder, ‘Blue Shadow‛ is a superb small shrub with multi-season interest. It has distinctive powdery blue foliage that turns a kaleidoscope  of reds, yellows, and oranges in the fall. Bottlebrush-like clusters of honey- scented creamy-white flowers adorn the plant prior to the emergence of the young foliage in spring. Cold hardy through zone 5 (-20°F).
