Lonicera ×brownii ‘Dropmore Scarlet’ – Trumpet Honeysuckle

$13.00$29.00

A hybrid between Trumpet Honeysuckle (L. sempervirens), a local native, and Hairy Honeysuckle (L. hirsuta), a generally more northern species that can be found in the Adirondacks. Hairy Honeysuckle brings cold-hardiness to the cross and ‘Dropmore Scarlet’ is cold-hardy throughout our area. It flowers prolifically beginning in late Spring and continues reblooming into the Fall. The reddish-orange trumpet-shaped flowers are particularly attractive to Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
