Monarda didyma ‘Jacob Cline’ – Bee Balm or Oswego Tea


The mother of all red bee balms. Flowers are scarlet with dense heads and are shaped like bursts of fireworks. Native Americans used the leaves and flowers as a tea for headaches, colic and stomach complaints. It is in the mint family and can be an aggressive spreader. A favorite of butterflies and hummingbirds. Perfect for a sunny meadow that does not get too dry. Very hardy. Height – 36’’
