Rubus ‘Nova’ – Red Summer Raspberry – 2-Gallon, 1-Year

$11.00

A recent release from the Kentville Research Station at Nova Scotia and one of the leading varieties in eastern Canada. Canes are medium to tall, nearly spineless, and productive. Fruit ripens midseason, is medium to large, firm, and bright red, with a good but somewhat acid flavor. Leaves and fruit are resistant to late yellow rust. Cold hardiness is good and this variety is particularly well-adapted to fluctuating spring temperatures. Occasionally produces a small crop of berries in late fall.
